Meet David
David didn’t start out as a career expert — he started out applying for jobs, the same as you.
After graduating in 2020, he broke into Accenture’s graduate programme, then moved into Amazon, where he managed high-profile vendor accounts and later worked as a Business Consultant across EU retail categories. In 2025, he co-founded Zoned, a startup that was acquired the following year. Alongside completing a Master’s in Computer Science, he’s now working as a software engineer at Corgi, a YC-backed startup — a technical career built largely through self-teaching rather than a conventional route in.
David has seen hiring from both sides at large big-tech companies and fast-growing startups. He has good awareness of what they’re looking for and how they operate.
That path meant repeatedly figuring out, first-hand, what it actually takes to get noticed and hired — inside a graduate intake of thousands, inside a company the size of Amazon, and while pitching himself into technical roles without a technical degree to point to.
This coaching program is built from what worked across those transitions — not theory, not a framework borrowed from an HR textbook, but the specific approach that got him through the door each time.
